The welcoming hills of Southern Limburg include the Vaalserberg – at 1053 ft, it is the highest point in the Netherlands. Central Limburg has its green, water-rich Maas Valley, while Northern Limburg has the Peel and expansive woods and heaths. Together, they form a combination of varied landscapes unique in the Netherlands.
Many sights and attractions can be found in the immediate surroundings of the hotel. For example, a 17th-century water mill, the Schaelsberg with its hermitage, as well as a herb garden in the old Dutch style with hundreds of medicinal plants.
